Bratislava Water Management Company
Bratislava Water Management Company (Bratislavská vodárenská spoločnosť a.s.) was established under Decree No. 853 on Privatisation issued by the Ministry for the Administration and Privatisation of National Property of the Slovak Republic dated 2 October 2002, file No. KM-1306/2002.
Bratislava Water Management Company is an operator of water supply and sewer systems in the Bratislava region and in part of the Trnava region (the districts of Skalica and Senica) and part of the Trenčín region (the district of Myjava). The entire assets of Vodárne a kanalizácie Bratislava and part of the assets of Západoslovenské vodárne a kanalizácie, both of which are dissolved state-owned enterprises, were incorporated into the share capital of Bratislava Water Management Company. The company's shareholders are the municipalities and cities within the company's territorial scope, with the city of Bratislava being the majority shareholder.
