Change mobility for good – this is the motto of Tier Mobility, founded in 2018 in Berlin by a group of young entrepreneurs. Tier chose Vienna as its first city, and since then it has been offering e-scooters, e-bikes and e-mopeds in more than 130 cities in thirteen countries. Tier aims to provide residents with better, faster and (most importantly) more sustainable mobility within the city.

In Bratislava, you can choose between electric scooters and Tier mopeds.

The rental works via their mobile app through QR codes. You can download the app ↗︎ on the website, where you will also find detailed instructions.

Shared parking and climate neutrality

Bratislava is the first city in Slovakia that Tier chose, and it is one of the first cities to create a shared parking network.

Bolt’s shared scooters are a fast and responsible way to get around town. The company is working with the city to make the streets less congested, the air cleaner and modern urban transport more accessible to all.

Bolt 3

Bolt's custom scooter model was developed specifically for sharing – to make it more comfortable and durable for heavy use every day.

Bolt introduced a safety package and voice alerts in the app that educate users on how to ride responsibly.

Carbon neutral operation

Bolt committed to having a carbon neutral operation by the end of 2020. This means they have helped reduce more CO2 in the air than has been produced by the manufacture and maintenance of their electric scooters.
