Teachers' Day

Bratislava, which has 12 primary art schools and 5 centres for leisure in its founding competence, is aware of the importance of work and input of teachers. But, not least also the other professionals in education, who dedicate their efforts for the benefit of children and young people while they participate in their extra-curricular activities – held in a primary art school or centre for leisure.

To mark the occasion of the Teachers' Day, the Mayor organises an award ceremony, rewarding the work results of the best employees of schools and centres for leisure (there are over 500 employees in total).
