Technical Infrastructure
Technical infrastructure deals with the concept of individual technical infrastructure systems at the city-wide level and its application in spatial planning documentation.
It is also a part of the processing of conceptual documents in the development of the city’s technical infrastructure systems, which includes supplying the city with water, electricity, gas and heat, as well as its sewerage, watercourses, water bodies, telecommunications and pipelines and the city collectorate.
The role of the Department of Environmental Studies and Technical Infrastructure in the city’s technical infrastructure
- It is a guarantor in the procurement of plans for the city’s individual technical infrastructure systems and keeping them up to date.
- It coordinates the activities of investors, network administrators and city districts in the preparation of technical infrastructure investments and aligns them with city-wide concepts.
- It processes input conditions with regard to technical infrastructure for submitting spatial planning documents at various levels, participates in the processing of spatial planning information and the development of regulations, and provides consultations to the processors of these documentation.
- It assesses the documentation of prepared investment actions from the viewpoint of technical infrastructure interests and processes partial opinions as a basis for binding opinions of the capital city in property relations; it also processes opinions on the sale and lease of land from the viewpoint of technical infrastructure for the Property Relations Department and the Real Estate Lease Department.
- It provides city residents and organisations with information and consultations regarding technical infrastructure issues and interprets city-wide development concepts and partial departmental positions within the city’s binding positions on investment activities.
