The Bratislava Tourist Board is a tourism organisation that has been inviting tourists from all over the world and from different parts of Slovakia to our city since 2011. It also provides comprehensive destination management for tourism in Bratislava.

Its main mission is to promote Bratislava as a year-round destination of choice, especially abroad. However, we also initiate a number of activities to promote domestic tourism and make the leisure activities on offer more attractive for the residents of Bratislava.

Main activities

  • Destination marketing is an important tool for rendering Bratislava more visible to potential visitors in order to secure an effective increase in visitor arrivals, overnight stays and the use of tourism products and services, thereby enhancing the economy of the city. The Bratislava Tourist Board is actively engaged in all forms of marketing activities.
  • The Tourist Information Centre is the place to which most of the city's tourists go. In addition to regularly updated thematic maps and brochures with trip tips, this first-contact office also has helpful staff who will be happy to help you plan your time in Bratislava to your liking.
  • MICE or congress tourism is an important part and a considerable source of tourism revenue for any major destination. Bratislava offers interesting possibilities for organising congresses and other events.
  • Destination management of tourism in Bratislava provides activities that connect tourism entities, promotes the common interests of the organisation's members, organises events for residents and visitors, processes and submits tourism development and infrastructure projects, and secures their implementation. It also prepares the long-term and short-term concepts and strategy for tourism development.
